Do you have a shelter, but the sun bakes you out in the late afternoon? This is what happened to me, so I made a new awning for my gazebo. It allowed us to have shady time in our shelter and be out of the late afternoon sun!
The Larks Portable awning is easy to set up and has 2 modes.
Awning mode requires some cord and a tent pegs or something to tie it to. Use the hook and loop tie downs to attach it to your shelter at the top. Create loops out of the 2 velcro tiedowns on the bottom corners and tie them to tent pegs on your lawn or tie them to something secure. You will have a very nice airy awning in a minute!
Wall mode does not require anything else. Simply use the hook and loop tie downs to attach it to your shelter at the top of awning. Then use the two hook and loop tiedowns to attach around the poles!
You will have to choose the correct size, then tell me how wide exactly you would like your awning, and also you must check to see if the awning is physically able to attach to your shelter at the top!
Not meant to be a permanent solution - do not use in heavy winds!
